Fair day’s work

Why are teachers up in arms and threatening strike action over Curriculum for Excellence (your report, 8 June), something that’s been on the table for eight to ten years (depending on who you listen to)? Some of these teachers were still in primary school when it was first mooted

I don’t suppose there’s any chance they could get on with the job that they’re paid to do. Every industry has had to adapt and change in the past decade. I suggest they do so before the next version of CfE comes out.
