Exhausted GPs

The experience of Dr Amy Small as reported in your columns (26 June) is not at all uncommon among many GPs and indeed has been known about for many years.

When will politicians – and the public – acknowledge that in order to sustain care and understanding along with the safety which patients deserve from their GP, workload issues and needless bureaucracy need to be dealt with as a matter of urgency?

Your GPs are human
beings and have reached a point of meltdown.
