Every vote counts

With the referendum fast approaching and every vote being critical for the future of Scotland, hopefully staying in the Union, it infuriates me that there are still some people who will refuse to vote.

With the option of postal and proxy votes for those who cannot or chose not to attend polling stations, there is not excuse for anyone not voting.

It is not just a constitutional right but a responsibility.

In Australia people who refuse to cast their vote are fined $20 and I feel strongly this is something Britain should consider.
