Election mandate

If Westminster politicians make as big a hash of their “vow” to create devo-max Scottish devolution in time for next May’s UK general election as they did with the independence referendum, then we may not need ­another referendum.

All we need to do is to elect 59 Scottish MPs who are neither Labour, Conservative nor Liberal Democrat and mandate them to negotiate independence for Scotland.
