If Westminster politicians make as big a hash of their “vow” to create devo-max Scottish devolution in time for next May’s UK general election as they did with the independence referendum, then we may not need another referendum.

All we need to do is to elect 59 Scottish MPs who are neither Labour, Conservative nor Liberal Democrat and mandate them to negotiate independence for Scotland.
