Eagle-eyed

The Scottish Gamekeepers Association is on the right track in its claim that sea eagles attack humans (your report, 3 September).

No doubt these demons of the sky are responsible for the bones found in Loch Lomond as well – what better way for these scheming beasts to dispose of the evidence of their depredations than drop them in the nearest loch?

The attack on the Very Reverend Farquharson proves these beasts are in league with the Devil. Why else would they attack him, a representative Heaven, when all he did was try to beat the stuffing out of the beast while he was trying to protect his prize goose?

It is good to see that Scottish gamekeepers are intent on protecting Scots from these ravening hordes of avian monsters so that they can sleep easily in their beds at night.
