Domestic offence

I note with interest that a criminal offence of domestic abuse is being considered in England and Wales. This will incorporate “psychological abuse”, which can take the form of bullying, threatening, monitoring, denying independent thought and action, removing autonomy, belittling and generally engendering feelings of helplessness and hopelessness within the victim.

Does this sound familiar? If this offence were to be adopted in England and Wales, perhaps the Scottish people would have a case to bring to the courts.
