Dog’s life

I agree to an extent with what the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals spokesman said about what’s wrong with breeding dogs for specific genetic traits (Letters, 12 August). I’m especially worried about the trend for small dogs that don’t seem to be able to breathe properly.
