Dog mystery

While it is lovely that Jack Proctor graduated from 
Napier University with an A grade (your report, 8 July), I can’t for the life of me understand why he was allowed to bring his dog, Fudge, to the ceremony and why the cocker spaniel was dressed in graduation robes.

Still, I suppose it makes a pleasant change from pictures of pretty blonde girls jumping up in the air for photographers during graduation season.
