Your report (8 June) about Skye being “a real life Jurassic Park” made interesting reading and not merely from the palaeontological point of view.

Skye was not only described as being “a small Scottish island” (it is, I believe, the largest of the Inner Hebrides with a population in excess of 10,000) but as a “remote isle”. As it is now accessible by bridge, this must be a very long bridge indeed.
