Direct action

A LOT of people (particularly in these pages) have strong opinions about significant issues such as gay marriage, abortion and assisted dying.

While I agree that big decisions affect a broader society – and I do believe in society – I find myself increasingly 
inclined only to care about the views of those who would be directly affected.

Gay marriage only affects those who are gay and want to get married. The same goes for abortion. Let them chose. Assisted dying is less straightforward, though.
