Deserved praise
I was so pleased to read that Pauline Cafferkey, the Scottish nurse who survived Ebola, was among those honoured by the Prime Minister for their work in helping those with the terrifying disease (your report, 11 July).
People who put themselves in harm’s way to help those who the rest of us may well thoughtlessly regard as “lost causes” deserve the highest praise.
