Crime times

Police Scotland is showing a presence in North Edinburgh to try to combat vehicle theft and vandalism.

Officers also patrol the streets frequently, but during the day, when not even the dumbest petty criminal is out and about.

I personally know of someone who has had their car windscreen broken three times now. This has always happened in the early hours, witnessed by someone hearing them and domestic CCTV.

CCTV is of no help, however, as the vandals always have their hoods up.

How about realistic policing when the vandals are out and about not asleep?
