Creative culture

There is nothing wrong with an English person being appointed as director of Creative Scotland (Letters, 22 February), as long as they are well versed in Scottish culture.

Would you employ a plumber who couldn't fix a leak or an electrician who couldn't replace a fuse? I think not. So why would you employ someone who knows practically nothing about Scottish culture to direct Creative Scotland?
