Crag view

Well, I must plead guilty-ish to Colin Evans’ point that my photo should not be described as “above Callander Crags” (Letters, 27 December). I had been using Callander Crags rather more diffusely to refer to an area rather than a summit!

In my defence, I would point out that the photo is not of Bracklinn Falls but of the stretch of Keltie Water about a mile north of the falls at what is called Scout’s Pool (to be precise at OS NN640102), upstream from if not vertically above, Callander Crags.
