Council clowns
I’m sure you’ll put me right if I have this wrong – but am I correct in thinking that Edinburgh City Council, which in practical terms has bankrupted the city with its congestion charging and trams adventures, now wants to build a football stadium and sports complex at Sighthill in partnership with a football club which can’t even afford to pay its staff wages on time?
That is, of course, the same city council which claims it can’t afford to adjust the pay of its lowest paid employees to conform with Equal Opportunities law.
I hope that not even a single citizen is thinking about voting for any of these clowns next May.
