Confused policy

Once again I am confused by the SNP’s changes in policy. At Wednesday’s Oil & Gas conference the First Minister wanted even further tax cuts for one of the richest industries on the planet. Yet day in, day out SNP spokespeople demand higher public spending from Westminster. The UK Government can’t do both – and the alternative of full fiscal autonomy would lead to higher taxes and lower spending.

For once, can the SNP stop trying to pretend you can have Irish taxes and Scandinavian spending.
