Climate change

In response to Hugh Reilly (Opinion, 20 January) a “climate-change denier” is someone who, by definition, believes that the earth’s climate is static.

I know of no such person who believes such a thing and I suspect that there is no one who believes that the earth’s climate does not change, remarkable indeed, given the volume of hot air spouted on the subject.
