I don’t really think there’s any need for the government to spend a load of time and money investigating the reasons for Scotland’s high rate of teenage pregnancies (your report, 7 January).

The Holyrood health committee should simply visit the Netherlands, then do exactly what they do: educate young people. It’s very straighforward.
