Choose respect

What if the tragedy of the death of Jacintha Saldanha becomes the real judgment on phone hacking and many other human interactions?

What if, instead of blame, we begin to measure decisions in the light of the dignity, respect and value of individual human life?

Or will this be yet another case of “the patron died in the centre ring, the clowns blamed the elephants but nobody thought to stop the circus”?

I suspect that no legislation will help; perhaps it is the serious matter of the human heart.
