Chilling statement

Good news for shareholders as the Co-operative group announces a dramatic financial turnaround from a loss of £255 million in 2013 to a profit of £124m this year.

They attribute this to “robust performances by the food and funeral businesses”. Perhaps a little more thought could have gone into the wording of this chilling statement.
