Cast correction
Monarch of the Glen fans will know that Alasdair Steven is wrong when he says that Richard Briers was “replaced by none other than Julian Fellowes” (Obituary, 19 February).
Julian played Lord Kilwillie, neighbour and sparring partner of Richard’s Hector MacDonald, for the first three series and together they provided some classic comedy. Kilwillie did remain for series four but certainly did not replace Hector.
