Care, not war

David Cameron congratulates himself for instigating “successful” military action against Libya and believes we should take similar action against any other foreign country which abuses its citizens’ democratic rights.

That is very “big” of him but perhaps he should ponder on the meaning of democracy.

He and his fellow politicians are elected to act in the best interests of the people of the United Kingdom. It is not in our best interests to spend billions protecting the citizens of another country while imposing financial restrictions on the citizens of this country who are unable to access decent facilities for because of soaring costs.
