Brown

A friend and I were discussing the role self-delusion plays in human affairs, and he cited an example I had missed. Apparently a few days ago Gordon Brown expressed hope he might be re-elected to complete the job he had begun. Which job would that be? The assault on the pension funds? The rail link across London? Looking after the interests of the City? Or defending the Union by raising Scottish emigration to 100 per cent?
