Bridge too far?

I DON’T want to alarm anybody or put a wet cloth down any trumpets currently blowing, but the thought occurs to me: did all those great engineering minds who built that giant aircraft carrier at Rosyth take account of the Forth’s bridges that it will have to get under to get out?

We could end up with a very expensive chunk of scrap metal. Which should sit well with the tram project we built while knowing that we already had rail lines from the city centre to the airport. Just a thought…
