Blurred vision

Scottish education secretary Mike Russell has just given his view on continued research funding for our universities.

As with many aspects of the SNP vision of independence, he suggests that a future independent Scotland would continue to be part of the current research council (and hence funding) make-up.

Is the SNP view of independence simply being part of everything that we are a part of today, but somehow separate? It has no vision.
