Blinded by Blair

NOT a solitary critic of Tony Blair can say with credibility what would have been done about Saddam Hussein and his genocidal, mass-murdering regime if action had not been taken when it was.

No doubt they would be continuing to wring their hands and mouth platitudes as tens of thousands of Kurds and others were removed annually by mass gassing and other methods.

Blair's critics can be likened to the Hitler appeasers of the 1930s – why should we do anything about events in a "far-off land"? Churchill was called a warmonger for urging action. Humanity should be relieved that there were, as in the 1930s, some who have the courage to face up to a common danger.
