Bishops’ bias

Britain enjoys the fastest growth of any Western nation and the independent Office of National Statistics shows the overall employment rate, at 73 per cent, is the highest since 1971.

No mention was made of these facts in the bishops’ hypocritical, unbalanced, and misleading pastoral letter registering a displeasure they reserve only for Tory-led administrations.

Where were they when the last government wrecked the economy, borrowed record sums, raised income inequality to record levels, while piling debts on the backs of our 
children?
