Beyond a joke

Am I the only reader who is
beginning to get more than slightly scunnered at the endless sequence, day after day and week after week, of cartoons guying Alex Salmond?

Of course politicians are fair game for cartoonists, and one with as high a public profile as Mr Salmond must, and I’m sure does, take this kind of satire in his stride; but seriously, is there nobody and nothing else, in Scotland or beyond, that your cartoonists can think of to satirise?

It is an unbecomingly obvious giveaway of the papers’ political stance.
