Being priced out

Having been a loyal reader of The Scotsman for more years than I care to reveal I must admit that my loyalty is wavering, owing to the increased cost of the paper relative to value therein.

Jacking up the price to sell half-price subscriptions has not in marketing terms achieved a lot and the only hope for survival would be a straight cut-price offer to recover lost sales and stay competitive in the difficult times for the newspaper business.
