On reading (Rev Dr) Robert Anderson’s letter (20 August), I was reminded of amusing meanings for some of our Honours: MBE – More Beer for Everyone; OBE – Other Blighters’ Efforts; CMG – Call Me God; KCMG – The King Calls Me God; GCMG – God Calls Me God.
