BBC benefits

Fortunately, the result of the referendum has meant that we in Scotland are not being deprived of access to BBC television.

We can continue to enjoy programmes such as Magna Carta and Wolf Hall, clarifying and deepening our understanding of great episodes of English history.

And the English, too, will benefit from our continuing membership of the British family of nations by continuing to enjoy dramas and documentaries, broadcast throughout our united nation, which in turn clarify and deepen their understanding of Scotland’s past.

Win, win all round, I’m sure we’d all agree.
