Atos successor

It is to be hoped that the US agency Maximus that is taking over from Atos to assess people on benefits does not, as Atos did, start interrogating them

No-one just steps on to benefits. A doctor took the decision that they were unfit for work. Therefore, it is that doctor (in legal terms) who must be questioned. Otherwise it comes down to a government agency wilfully bypassing that decision and the person who took it and virtually demanding that the patient gives account as to why he is on benefits.

This is a clear infringement of human rights and is nothing more than harassment.

I hope the Scottish Government and all concerned robustly activate this point.
