Arrogance of SNP
It was only on 8 February 2015, less than six months ago, that Nicola Sturgeon in an article in the Guardian declared that “the SNP have a long-standing position of not voting on matters that purely affect England – such as foxhunting south of the Border, for example – and we stand by that”.
The First Minister promised constructive involvement in the legislative process in England, but this decision will simply harden the resolve of the Conservative government to introduce EVEL which the SNP are so against.
