Steuart Campbell is entitled to his opinion that the UK needs a new anthem that is about the country not its monarch in the wake of the outcry over Jeremy Corbyn not joining in (Letters, 17 September).
However, he cannot deny the efficacy of the national anthem prayer. It has worked!
