Alien concepts

Douglas Turner (Letters, 29 December) comments that an alien would “be hard pressed to work out who the victors in the referendum were”.

If he couldn’t count, that could be the case.

However, the No lead of almost 25 per cent more than those who voted Yes, is a
margin that any sentient being would find pretty convincing, I think.

Since the SNP are living on another planet themselves, they would have much in common with any hypothetical aliens. Moreover, as aliens are creatures of fiction, they would, of course, find that they had much in
common with the fictional claims of the SNP during the referendum.
