Airport charge

This is all getting a bit silly and needs to be kept in perspective. After all we are talking about £1. Yes, £1.

In the grander scheme of things, if one can afford a flight and probably a snack, a coffee and - heavens above - a newspaper too, is 1 too much to ask?

How often do most of the protesters really use the airport? I would hazard a guess that it's pretty infrequently and those regular users no doubt will be claiming it back on expenses - following MPs who cannot help themselves latching on to any protest, and who, after all, could teach most of us a trick or two on the expenses front.
