Aberdeen calling

IT LOOKS like Aberdeen City Council is taking no chances against a possible crowd of street protesters trying to occupy the city chambers at Marischal College, or indeed any other public office.

By proposing a ban on any Scottish Government person entering such council property, it seems that what occurred in Kiev, Ukraine, has infected the Granite City administration with a dose of the jitters. Another pre-emptive measure appears to have ensued with the routine council info being accompanied in the mail to Aberdeen households by pro-No documentation, obviously aimed at warning Granite City folk against any notion of them supporting independence for Scotland.

Three local rumours are that the City Council chief has been on the phone with either of two world presidents, Vladimir Putin or Barack Obama, or maybe both of them.
