A fine view

Lochwinnoch with its uninterrupted south-east skyline from Castle Semple Loch was the perfect location for the 2015 eclipse as the thick clouds were slowly melted away by the Sun to leave a thin haze, allowing perfect viewing of the Sun’s impression of the Cheshire Cat without the need of cooking foil glasses, holes in cards or any of the rest of the silly unnecessary paraphernalia from the Nanny Knows Best lobby.
