Prime Minister David Cameron yesterday reiterated his opposition to a live TV debate with Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond over the independence referendum.
Number 10 had confirmed earlier that the Prime Minister will not take part in a public debate with Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond, following a new SNP poll indicating a substantial proportion of the British people would like to see them go head-to-head on television.
