The Scotsman cartoon: David Cameron’s EU stance
DAVID Cameron has signalled his intent to lead Great Britain out of the European Union if UK welfare reforms were not agreed by other EU states.
Cameron wants to change the laws so that EU migrants would not be able to claim welfare for four years after entering the UK and would face deportation if they went six months without a job.
Cameron is still confident that a renegotiation can take place, describing his plans as “reasonable and fair.”
