DAVID Cameron has entered the debate over free speech by insisting that the media had a right to “cause offence”.
The Prime Minister’s remarks come after Pope Francis sparked controversy last week by saying there were limits to freedom of expression and that “one cannot make fun of faith”.
David Cameron said that as long as publications acted within the law they had the right to publish any material.
