Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond took the formal White Paper to the Scottish Parliament yesterday, a day after it was launched.

The white paper has come under scrutiny from the Better Together campaign with former chancellor Alistair Darling suggesting it fails to provide concrete detail about how promises would be paid for.

Prime Minister David Cameron also joined the attack saying the white paper leaves a “huge set of questions” unanswered.
