AFTER the results from local elections held in England, UKIP took a chunk out of the bigger parties share of the vote.
UKIP’s Nigel Farage will be the happiest leader at the announcement of these results, although they didn’t win they did take 22 per cent of the vote, enough to bring on board 150 extra councillors. Labour fared well too, managing to make substanial gains of around 300 seats.
