A NEW ICM poll shows the SNP are in a healthy position ahead of next May’s general election.

43 per cent of the 1,004 adults polled indicated they would support the Nationalists, which is up from 19.9 per cent at the last Westminster election.

Labour support has fallen 16 per cent from 42 to 26 per cent over the same period.
