SCOTLAND’s Commonwealth Games team secured a national record number of gold medals at Glasgow 2014 yesterday.
Success for Libby Clegg in the parasport 100m T12 and victory in the men’s pairs bowls added to the host nation’s successes in the Tollcross pool courtesy of Hannah Miley, Ross Murdoch and Daniel Wallace, while the Renicks sisters, Kimberley and Louise, Sarah Clark, Euan Burton, Sarah Adlington and Chris Sherrington topped the podium for their judo exploits at the SECC and Neil Fachie and Craig MacLean enjoyed double tandem joy at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
