SNP leader Alex Salmond made a direct plea to labour voters to join the Yes campign.
The Scottish First Minister said that independence “will be good for Scottish Labour” as it “freed” them from Westminster leadership which has taken the party too close to the Tories. Picking up support from undecided Labour voters are a key demographic for Mr Salmond to appease.
