Sarah Boyack, Neil Findlay and Jim Murphy are the three contenders for the position. Murphy is the clear favourite but Findlay’s left-wing outlook makes him an intriguing dark horse when it comes to voting time.

The voting will take place on Wednesday, December 10, a day which, regardless of result, will be one of the most important in Scottish Labour history.
