Open day at cat shelter

Lothian Cat Rescue in Bonnyrigg is to hold an open day.

The event, to be held on Sunday, June 24 from 2pm to 4pm, will include stalls and refreshments.

There will also be chance to meet some of the cats at the shelter, with the opportunity to return the following week to adopt.

Established in 1978, the charity rehomes hundreds of cats and kittens every year.
