One killed and two badly hurt in crash

A MAN was killed and two people were critically injured in a two-car crash in Argyll.

The fatality, a 40-year-old man who died at the scene, was en route from Muckairn Bridge to Fearnoch at Taynuilt on Thursday night when he was involved in a collision. The other driver, 22, was flown to hospital in Paisley, while his 25-year-old female passenger was airlifted to Glasgow. Both are in a critical condition.
