One in four regrets not saving more

ONE in four people wish they had saved more money during the past 18 months to help them deal with the downturn, a survey showed yesterday.

About 24 per cent regretted not saving more in the period, while 32 per cent wished they had started setting aside cash earlier in life, National Savings and Investments said.
